The girls have been busy taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. They have set up their own business and published a book about climate change. The story tells the devastating effects of the bush fires through the eyes of a young koala named Jimmie and also comes with a clip on koala so that the story can be told again and again. Books are on sale for €10 from the school or through their website www.whereareyoumammy.ie

This project has attracted much media attention and the girls have featured on the Meath Chronicle and the Drogheda Independent as well as being invited to speak on LMFM. Two girls also represented the class at the Meath County Council Conference on Climate Change recently. The girls are looking forward to a visit from NEWS2DAY on 14th February to share their project on national television.

10% of the profits of this project are being divided between the Irish Wildlife Trush and the Bushfire Foundation.

Thank you to all who have supported us so far and we look forward to releasing the books in the coming days.
